On Monday, U.S. News & World Report released their 2024 list of the Best Places to Live in the U.S., ranking 150 major cities based on quality of life, value, job market, and desirability. Naples, FL, took the top spot due to its beautiful beaches, outdoor activities, and job opportunities.

Other top cities include Boise, ID, Colorado Springs, CO, Greenville, SC, and Charlotte, NC. On the flip side, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Detroit, MI, and Hartford, CT, were among the “worst” cities due to economic challenges. This year’s list reflects concerns about affordable housing and jobs.
