This chocolate version is a dessert lover’s dream breakfast, with its gooey peanut butter and melty chocolate chips.

Ingredients:
– 2 tablespoons peanut butter
– 1 egg
– 1/3 cup maple syrup
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 cups milk or non-dairy milk alternative
– 2 cups old-fashioned oats
– 1/4 cup cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup chocolate chips, divided

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9-inch square or 11×7 baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, whisk peanut butter, egg, maple syrup, vanilla, and milk until combined.
3. Add oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and 1/4 cup chocolate chips, and stir until combined.
4. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and top with remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips.
5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is just set.
