On March 27, 2022, we launched our safe and ad-free social media platform exclusive to older adults: Senior Planet Community (SPC). Now, on its second anniversary, SPC boasts a 100% increase in users with a total of 10,800 – something great is definitely happening there!
A Fresh New Look
To celebrate this milestone, Senior Planet Community is getting a sleek makeover. The interface will have a more polished and cleaner look, while maintaining its original structure. We’ve improved the age-friendly design for better clarity and usability. Stay tuned for the live updates!
Exciting SPC Group Updates!
In the past year, we introduced diverse groups for older adults to connect, make friends, and share resources. Some popular groups include:
- Music Enthusiasts: Country, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Blues, and more – a group for all music lovers.
- Man Cave: A supportive space for men to discuss men’s health, hobbies, and more.
- Writers Studio: A nurturing haven for writers to share their work.
Introducing our newest group: Aging with Attitude™ – a place for honest discussions and advice among older adults. Also, join the Fun with Photography group for bi-monthly Zoom meetings with expert John Durham.
